The color and the texture of glaze obtained through a chemical reaction in a kiln. I give form to clay, give a color, and fire. I only "wait" but temperature control. An impression of getting a "desired" work or an unexpected "chemical reaction" is far more important than the other when I take out my baked work from a kiln.
Placing importance on such exciting feelings, I would like to produce my works.

窯の中でおこる化学反応によって得られる釉薬の色や質感。土から形をつくりだす、色をつける、窯に入れる。窯に入れてしまえば、温度調整こそするものの、あとは「待つ」だけ。窯から焼きあがった作品を取り出した時の”狙い通り”のものが作れた感動、想像してなかった”化学反応”が起こった感動は何ものにも変えがたいものです。
このトキメキを大切に作品づくりをしていきたいと思っています。
